ABOUT THE SOCCER EVENT®
For the past four years The Soccer Event, always held in the same city as MLS Cup, has brought together soccer specialty retailers from around the country along with global soccer suppliers. The educational portion of the 2009 event will focus on the basics of soccer specialty retailing in America and provide hands-on advice on how these retailers can improve their profits in a tough retail environment.
Sessions on: creative merchandising, retail Point of Sale systems and software applications, creating a soccer specialty association, how to maintain margins, insurance, employment and human resource law, inventory controls and how to successfully run multiple stores.
Retailers will view products with dedicated time for one-on-one meetings. Over 50 leading U.S. soccer specialty stores will be our invited guests.
All Soccer Event Conference attendees will be invited to the MLS Gala evening celebration and the MLS Cup,
November 22, 2009.
